Explosion In Maryland Government Buildings

              

Two parcels exploded in the mail section of state government buildings in Maryland, US.

According to the reports, 1st parcel exploded in the mailroom section of Transport headquarters in Hanover. The 2nd parcel exploded after half hour of the 1st one in a building of Annapolis which also  belongs to Maryland.

Maryland officials stated that both the parcels were received via mail and  except 1 person, no serious injuries or causalities were observed. Their representative Greg Shipley reported that the parcels were of the size of books & while the parcels were opened, foul smell & smoke got dispersed in air.

Still Fire Department of Annapolis is into action & investigating the case. But till Thursday night nobody is arrested under suspect of being guilty.

For the security reasons about 125 people in Jeffery Building & 250 people in Department of Transportation building have been evacuated & investigation is still under progress

Analysis Of 1000 Dead Black Birds In Louisiana

                        

It is reported & till now we all are awared that, at New Year’s celebration, about 1000 black birds fell dead from the sky in Arkansas town of Southern America.

The analysts have reported that around 1000 birds have fallen that night but all were not dead & some are alive & in acute condition which are under observation.  

The wildlife authorities of many areas are researching behind it that, what made such disaster happen. It was reported from the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission that, previous night it was observed that outside of that town nearly about 2km, only those birds were found dead there.

At this, Karen Rowe, Commission ornithologist stated that the birds would be struck by physical trauma, & it is hypothesize that birds would have been struck by huge lightening or may be high altitude frozen rain. She also stated that such kind of incident has also happened at other places as well.

Miss Rowe added that one of the reasons for it may also be the fireworks shooted at New Year’s Eve.

This shutter makes sure that both eyes are looking at different images at same time.

      

2. Passive 3D

Unlike Active 3D these system don’t consists of 2 shutters for different imaging but the 3D glass is filtered so that both eyes sees different images.

The drawback of this kind of 3D imaging is that unlike Active 3D, 2 images are shown same screen at the same time in Passive 3D hence the quality & size of the image is halved & the image is not full HD.

3. 3D without glass

This is the system which the latest companies are opting for 3D imaging. Here the use of glasses is avoided completely & shaped lenticular lenses are used to display different images depending upon the viewing angle.

Companies like Nintendo & Toshiba are using this latest technique in its glass-free 3D television & devices. Moreover the maximum size of these TV is 21 inches till now. Toshiba assures that it will take time to use this technique in larger screen because still using this technique in larger screen is not affordable.

Oprah Winfrey launches new TV network

                 

The Famous International Talk Show- The Oprah Winfrey Show’s host Oprah Winfrey Launches a TV network namely Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) this Saturday. OWN will telecast 600 hours in the first year.

Winfrey, at launch of network stated sporting lines, “Happy New Year everybody and welcome to OWN 24-hour seven-day-a-week television venture at midday US time. This is a very exciting day for me kicking off the next chapter of my life with all of you. Yes, the Oprah Winfrey Network is finally on the air. Among the new programs to be aired on the channel are "Finding Sarah", hosted by Ms Ferguson, and "Why Not?" with Grammy-award winning Canadian diva Shania Twain, who says she has lost her confidence and ability to sing.”

The forecaster are still unsure whether the network will able to sustain in this competitive world of television network. Here the analyst for industry consultant SNL Kagan added that "Oprah has a very powerful brand name, but it's really difficult to get people to change their viewing habits and find a new channel, Plus, the fact that she'll still be on her syndicated show will probably be confusing to some people.

Oprah also accepts with Wall Street Journal that it may take time for network to come into competitive line though the talk show was telecasted 140 times a year. She stated in this article that, "If you're on the outside looking in, of course it looks like a big risk," Winfrey told the paper. "But for me, it's not so much about going wider. It's about going deeper, so that you have a platform that has a deeper impact."

Over & above network is also launching a new show where children take prison their work-holic parents, 2 cookery show, a mellow drama in which a family having mess getting controlled, a frank talk show about sex; and a series which profiles top names like Diane Sawyer, Jay-Z, Maya Angelou, and Condoleezza Rice.

2011-Bollywood's Sequel Era

Dhoom 3

  'Dhoom' had released in 2004, 'Dhoom 2' hits screens in 2006. Now, after a gap of five years, 'Dhoom 3' is likely to release in 2011. Sources reported that Aditya Chopra will himself direct 'Dhoom 3', which alter the star cast.

           

Partner 2

Partner released in 2007 inculded starcast is likely to be repeated in its sequel Partner 2. BSK supposed to release it in 2011 but due to dates problem movie was delayed to 2011

BSK production to launch sequel of Salman Khan, Ayesha Takia starrer & Prabhu Deva directed Wanted. After its huge success of 1^st part, expectations towards it are very high.

                    

Don 2

All the stars of remake of Amitabh Bacchan’s Don i.e. Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Rampal, Ishaa Koppikar, Boman Irani and Om Puri will retain their roles in the sequel of Don. This time also Don 2 is crime thriller & directed, co-written and co-produced by Farhan Akhtar.

This time the production team has decided to retain all the stars in its sequel i.e. Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, and Katrina Kaif are starring in Race 2 but it is planned to replace Bipasha Basu by any other actress. But Nothing is still officially announced.

Facebook Is The Most Visited Site In 2010

    

                    

According to Latest Sources of New York, Facebook exceeded Google for the first time as the most visited website in the United States for most of 2010. 

According to online measurement service Experian Hitwise Facebook exceeded its No. of users by 8.9% from January to November 2010, whereas Google was able to obtain 2nd position with its increase in number of users by 7.2% in that time span.

This Up-Shift of Face-Book is the reason for which Facebook can be termed as Most popular Website. According to Statistics, Facebook has turn out to be the world's largest Web social network with approximately 0.5 billion users worldwide. 

Till now News Corp’s My Space was rated as No. 1 visited website in US in 2007 but now it is ranked 7. Google.com ruled at its 1st position as the most visited website in US in 2009 & 2008.

 Though considering all the features offered by Google such as YouTube, GMail, Translate, Labs, Analytics, etc., Google has still its sovereignty as The Most Visited Web-Site at 9.9% & on other hand Facebook is still at 8.9%.

Moreover Yahoo.com with its properties is still ranked at 3rd position.
