Who Will Be The New Brand Ambassador Of IIFA ?

Since the foundation of IIFA awards, Amitabh Bachchan has been brand ambassador since the year 2000. But it can be said that a havoc of 1 kind has been created when the gossip is been in the air that Big B is no more Brand Ambassador of IIFA. This was confirmed by Bachchan himself on Twitter.

He has confirmed that he is not going to attend IIFA which is going to be held in Toronto this year on June 23-25. He added that IIFA no longer needs Bachchan’s contribution. At this the organizing authorities have stated that they eliminated the so called system of Brand Ambassador.

At the refusal of Daddy Bachchan about attending the IIFA, Abhishek Bachchan has stated on it that if time could be managed from schedule, he may be attending the IIFA. He stated that, "I don't know when it is but obviously if we are free and not working, yes we`ll go for it. We'll see if we could accommodate it, but if we are busy making films then obviously we won't be able to go there" .

But we know that if ever Bachchan admits or not, behind his so called refusal, there is some kind of cold war reason.

Yes Salman Khan is the only reason behind this incidence

Bachchan is been brand ambassador of IIFA since the IIFA started. It is considered in the industry that last year he was insulted by IIFA and as aresult he didn’t attended IIFA at Sri-Lanka. But the real story is not the last year insult, but the reason is that while deciding the venue of IIFA last year, Bachchan was not entertained to become the part of deciding member. Hence he made his mind not to attend IIFA last year.

Over & above he is also upset from IIFA because of taking Salman as host in Sri Lanka. He was very much hurted because of these 2 harsh decision taken by the authorities last year.

Now it will more exciting to wonder that what will be new strategy & policies of IIFA and more intresting, NEW BRAND AMBASSADOR .
